Drew Goodmanson
Drew is a pastor at Kaleo Church a church he helped plant. Drew has led several technology focused companies. He served as CEO of Pangia, Inc. a company that focused on the integration of technology into the shopping center environment. Drew has also been the President of The Fulcrum Group and SanoBiosciences International. Drew's clients have included companies such as Amazon.com, Unisource, Macerich Company, Acadia Pharma and Forward Ventures. Etienne de Bruin
Etienne graduated from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa in 1995 with a BS in Computer Science. He kick started his career in South Africa by getting involved in the early days of the World Wide Web and relating technologies. He ventured to Germany to team up with network security experts in the design of network traffic encryption products but more importantly, to savour the European culture and all the pretty places. His passion can best be captured in the following phrase: “All the information, to everybody, all the time.”
He currently resides in San Diego, California and involves himself with various Web technologies including PHP, Javascript, XML and Bass Playing.
James Martin
James graduated in 1999 with a BS in Management Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has previously worked as a police officer, firefighter and as the Research and Development Manager for a software company specializing in Emergency 911 Systems. Currently he is serving as a pastor for a church in the Dallas area and his passion is to see lives transformed through the power of the Gospel. He and his wife Tracy have two small children.
Jon Maxim
Jon holds an AAS from Rochester Institute of Technology, and in 1999 he received a BS in Bible from Lancaster Bible College. Since then, he has been a brand developer for ministry and business. Before joining Monk, Jon served as an Account Manager and Support Specialist for two dot com startups. With Monk, he is fulfilling his life mission: to help people publish the gospel. Jon and his wife live near Corning, NY with their four children.
Tim Schaaf
Tim is an experienced pastor, salesman and church leader. A graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary (Orlando) Tim spent his time between church revitalizations, working in sales for WorldCom and Sprint. During his four years in sales, he received three "Presidents Club" awards for outstanding sales performance. His real passion is to preach the unchanging Word of God to a changing world, and has teamed up with Monk Development because he believes that Monk can best help the church fulfill its mission.
Kevin Giddings
Kevin graduated from Southwestern Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree before appointment by the North American Mission Board (SBC) to plant churches in Western PA. His professional experiences are diverse as he has implemented various mission and business strategies in the United States and abroad. His singular calling and mission, however, is serving the local church by equipping it to spread the gospel through intentional mission strategies and church planting movements. He believes his partnership with Monk is strategic in fulfilling this calling and mission, and is currently serving the local church in Western PA with his wife and four children.
Brian Thomas
Brian is heading up the operations for our Viral Marketing group. He has had enjoyed success as a freelance writer/reviewer on the topics of faith and culture, theology, music, and art. His articles can be found at the Ooze, Next Wave, Allelon, and his blog at Semper Reformanda Records is quickly becoming a "must read" for those involved in music ministry. Brian graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor's in Biblical History from Puget Sound Christian College and is currently pursuing a Master's in Ministry. He lives in San Diego with his wife and two daughters. He loves all things carne asada, Stella Artois, and has far too many theories about the show Lost (don't get him started).
Shane Bonham
Shane is one of our CSS gurus. Graduating in 2003 from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BS in Business Administration, he continues to be a student of the ever-evolving realm of web standards. Shane lives in north county San Diego with his wife, a couple of kids and a cat.
Luke Simpson
Luke graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Aerospace Engineering. For twelve years he served in a variety of roles with Campus Crusade for Christ, most recently as a CSS/HTML developer for the redesign of their corporate public site. When it comes to the web, Luke is particularly fond of standards, usability, accessibility and beautiful design. He enjoys life with his beautiful wife and boys in Orlando, Florida.
Justin Bodeutsch
Justin has experience building backend intranets as well as web standard websites. Justin previously worked for Netbiz, a growing company in Tigard, Or. At Netbiz Justin focused on developing simple tools to help people edit their own web sites. Justin has a BA in Bible/Theology and Speech/Communication from Multnomah Bible College in Portland, Or. While attending Multnomah, Justin helped develop the school web site and intranet. Justin’s skills include CSS, JavaScript, quality, validation, PHP and other backend integration.
Justin Stayton
A 2007 graduate of LeTourneau University in the field of Computer Information Systems, Justin comes equipped with a myriad of skills in web development and programming. His academic portfolio includes work for companies ranging from IBM to the Longview Wellness Center. But when staring at code has his eyes bloodshot and blurry, Justin enjoys relaxing behind a good book, a camera lens, or a blank canvas to spur his creativity. He currently resides with the Amish in Pennsylvania.
Chad Johnson
Chad is a soon-to-be graduate of LeTourneau University. He enjoys learning about computers and technology, studying and contemplating philosophical ideas, reading science fiction books, and hanging out with friends. He began his web development and programming career in early high school and has since spent many long nights coding.
Marcie Kechely
Marcie Kechely serves as Operations & Project Manager. Marcie comes to us from Mason McDuffie Financial Corporation where she was a Commercial Property manager for five years. There she was responsible for managing over 40 million dollars in assets along with all tenant and vendor activities. Prior to this she was Manager of Operations for the Faultline Brewing Company restaurant chain. Marcie attended college at UC Davis.

Leah Hardwick
Previously employed with Dot News Corp., Binger Communications, Inc., and Tricomm Worldwide, Leah has experience writing news articles, editorials, press releases, bios, website content, sales materials, and pitch letters. She has written press releases for clients such as D. R. Horton, YMCA, Hampstead Partners, Urban Housing Partners and Tricomm Worldwide. Her writings have been published in several leading journals, newspapers and weekly magazines. She also has edited a real estate book, various sales materials and other articles. Leah Hardwick received her Bachelor's degree in Writing from the University of California, San Diego.
