Partner Design Options
The Reseller is able to work with their clients and create the best design solution for a companiy's specific needs. Most Content Management Systems (CMS) lock the design selection into a rigid table-based template. Because FUEL 360 uses a flexible web-based architecture that separates the content (html & data) from the design of the website, this allows Resellers to offer their clients a unique non-template design that best expresses their company.
How the Reseller Process Works
We have worked hard to make the process as simple as possible. These are the different options for Monk and the Reseller to work together:
1. Reseller creates Design (psd)
The Reseller works with the client to create a website design. The design company completes a layered Photoshop (PSD) file (or other agreed upon file delivery) and provides it to Monk Development to rebuild and integrate the FUEL 360 backend. Benefits: Monk Developmentrebuilds files into web standards and handles all the backend integration (php, FUEL 360 API, etc).
2. Reseller creates Website
The Reseller works with the client to create a website design. The design company completes and builds out they entire website. Monk Development integrates the FUEL 360 backend. Benefits: Monk Development handles all the backend integration.
3. Reseller integrates FUEL 360
The Reseller creates a custom design, builds the site and integrates FUEL 360's API into the design. The FUEL 360 API (Application Programming Interface) allows simple and rapid deployment of FUEL 360 Content to a client website. The API is a set of source code level commands that retrieves data and publishes it on the client's website. For example:
<? getContent ("event", "display:list", "howmany:5", "show:__titlelink__") ?>
This API would show a list of the last 5 event titles with links to their content page. Monk Development will train our premier partners and provide a wiki environment with the instructions on how to integrate the API into client websites.
